SPACE TECH 7 / APPROACH

How we design
a working system.

Explore our approach to mission systems, private AI, products, and connected operations: the problem, the software involved, and the people needed to build it.

Start a project

SYSTEM PATTERNS / 05

Start with the problem the team needs to solve.

The exact architecture and delivery plan depend on the people, systems, data, constraints, and proof available at the start.

05 / Mission software

Mission planning and telemetry shaped around the next decision.

Situation
A mission team works across plans, assets, simulations, live data, and handovers under time pressure.
Software approach
Planning tools, telemetry context, ground-operation views, procedure tracking, and decision logs.
Typical team
Systems lead, mission-domain partner, product designer, software engineers, and QA.

01 / Private AI

Company knowledge with sources, permissions, and an approval path.

Situation
People search across policies, tickets, documents, and decision logs before they can answer an operational question.
Software approach
A private retrieval layer, role-aware workspace, evidence panel, agent actions, and review queue.
Typical team
Product lead, AI engineer, full-stack engineers, product designer, and QA.

02 / B2B SaaS

A focused software product with a release path and room to grow.

Situation
A service or internal workflow has demand, but the first product still needs a clear job, account model, and operating foundation.
Software approach
Product strategy, core workflows, customer and admin surfaces, integrations, billing preparation, and product analytics.
Typical team
Product designer, delivery lead, full-stack engineers, platform engineer, and QA.

03 / Autonomous operations

One operating view for fleets, machines, alerts, and interventions.

Situation
Operators need to understand system state quickly and take over when an autonomous process reaches its limits.
Software approach
Fleet state, map and telemetry views, alert priorities, intervention controls, history, and evidence capture.
Typical team
Systems lead, product designer, front-end and platform engineers, data engineer, and QA.

04 / Financial operations

Approvals and controls that leave a clean operational record.

Situation
Finance teams reconcile documents, accounts, and exceptions across systems that do not share context.
Software approach
Connected records, approval rules, exception queues, secure integrations, and an audit-ready activity trail.
Typical team
Product lead, financial systems engineer, full-stack engineers, security specialist, and QA.
Discuss this system

Turn a pattern into a brief.

Which parts of a pattern should we use?

Begin with the recurring task and the people responsible for it. Select the workflows and integrations that support a first useful release, then record the assumptions that need testing.

How should success be defined?

Use observable acceptance criteria: a user can complete a task, an integration handles a known failure, or an operator can review an event. Baseline data should be collected before setting improvement targets.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

A short description of the work, the people involved, and the systems already in use. A representative task or data sample helps us identify the first workflow and the questions that need testing.

CONFIDENTIAL DELIVERY

Delivery under your brand.

We can work inside a partner's process, documentation, brand, and client relationship. Public case studies are added only when the client and delivery agreement allow it.
